Why Angels Can’t Kill

Question:

Why would angels kill if that’s a sin?

Answer:

Can I steal my own car? No, I cannot steal it because I own it.

If I give my car to someone, has he stolen it? No, he has not stolen it, because I have the right to give away my own property or permit someone to use it.

In a similar way, all life belongs to God. He is rightly free to do with it as he chooses. We can say that an angel could not take a life of his own accord, because life does not belong to him; however, God could permit an angel to carry out God’s judgment upon a life.
