Non-Catholic Marriages Are Valid

Question:

I am married and converting to Catholicism. My husband is not converting. Do I ned to have my marriage validated?

Answer:

If you were both non-Catholic at the time of your wedding then you do not need to do anything. The Catholic Church recognizes the marriages of non-Catholics as valid.
