Is Mary the Mother of the Holy Spirit?

Question:

If we can say Mary is the mother of Jesus and thus the mother of God, then by that logic, why can’t we say she’s the mother of the Holy Spirit since the Trinity is one?

Answer:

And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity;
Neither confounding the persons nor dividing the substance.
For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit.
But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is all one, the glory equal, the majesty coeternal. (Athanasian Creed)

Mary is the mother of a person. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct persons. Mary is the mother of Jesus who is the Second person of the Trinity (the Son). The Son and the Holy Spirit are not the same person.
