Is It Wrong to Have a Relationship with Your Child’s Godfather?

Assuming neither of you has a prior marriage bond and you are not related to each other then there is nothing wrong with entering into a relationship with the godfather of your child. It might be a bit uncommon but there is nothing inherently wrong with it nor is it a violation of any rule of the Church.
