How Long After the Nativity Was the Presentation?

According to Mosaic Law, a woman who has given birth to a boy is unable to enter the temple or touch anything holy for forty days. At the end of the forty days she is to offer a year-old lamb or two turtledoves or two pigeons as an offering. Luke (2:22-24) mentions this sacrifice, so this event would have taken place when Jesus was either forty days old or shortly thereafter.
