Grandchildren Unable to Get to Mass

Question:

Is it a mortal sin if my grandchildren don’t attend mass on the Sundays when they visit their mom who is not catholic?

Answer:

If we have no reasonable means of attending Mass then our obligation to attend Mass is abrogated. If the children do not drive and their mother is not willing to take them to Mass then there is no sin on their part.
