Did Jesus Cleanse the Temple Twice?

Jesus cleansed the Temple once (Matt. 21:12-14). In contrast, through his one sacrifice of Calvary, Jesus demonstrated that Temple sacrifices had become obsolete, symbolized by the tearing of the curtain that separated the holy of holies from the holies (Matt. 27:50-54; see Heb. 8:1-7).
