Can a Rosary Have a Cross Instead of a Crucifix?

Question:

Can I make a rosary with a cross or must I use a crucifix?

Answer:

While rosaries have traditionally included a crucifix rather than a cross, there is no actual requirement for one.  Often times simple wooden rosaries only have a small wooden cross rather than a crucifix.
