Question:
My three-year-old nephew has an imaginary friend he calls "Mark." Are imaginary friends considered guardian angels or demons?
Answer:
Imaginary friends are just that: imaginary. Young children often use their imagination to “bring alive” their toys and stuffed animals. Some children go a step further and create in their minds an invisible friend. There is nothing to worry about. What your nephew has created in his mind is perfectly normal and is a sign of creativity.
