Eucharistic Coherence in an Age of Incoherence

We live in a time in which one person’s “right” to unfettered self-definition trounces a Catholic’s right to freely practice his religion. We live at a time when polling surveys indicate that more than two-thirds of Catholics do not believe in the true presence of the Eucharist, yet two-thirds of Catholics also feel strongly that public figures who objectively place themselves outside of communion with the Church have a right to receive the Eucharist. We live in an age of incoherence. Precisely at this time, Eucharistic Coherence is an urgent and necessary starting point for a return to reality and truth.

Bishop Thomas Paprocki presented this talk at the 2022 Catholic Answers Conference, “The Eucharist – I Am with You Always.” To attend this year’s conference in person and meet your favorite apologists, visit catholicanswersconference.com.
