John Martignoni
Biography
John Martignoni went to work in the defense industry as a cost analyst for several years before returning to school - Univ. of North Carolina - to get a Ph.D. in Finance. Did not get the Ph.D., but came back to the Church at the end of the year he was at North Carolina. John was a cafeteria Catholic for a couple of years until getting hold of Scott Hahn’s “Conversion Story” talk and delving deeply into apologetics. First public practice of apologetics was to protest a virulently anti-Catholic program that was aired on the largest Evangelical radio station in Alabama, and wound up with a live, 1-hr. per week program on that same station doing Catholic apologetics. Starting giving talks at parishes soon after and that grew into a full-time job at which he has been working for the last 12 years.
John Martignoni is Founder and President of the Bible Christian Society, an apologetics and evangelization apostolate that reaches hundreds of thousands each year in all 50 states and throughout the world with the truths of the Catholic Faith.
The Director of the Office of Evangelization/Pro-Life Office; Diocese of Birmingham, John is the author of several books; Blue Collar Apologetics: How to Explain and Defend Catholic Teaching Using Common Sense, Simple Logic, and the Bible; and A Blue Collar Answer to Protestantism: Catholic Questions Protestants Can’t Answer; EWTN Publishing/Sophia Press;
John and his wife of 29 years, Janel, have 4 children.
