Question:
I’m gay and have committed homosexual acts. I have forsaken God, and I have confessed all of this. Can I still be loved by God?
Answer:
Sin never keeps God away from us. If it did, the Passion would never have happened. He never stops loving us. However, when we sin mortally, we choose to keep ourselves away from God—until we repent. When we repent, we are one with him again.
