Should Altar Girls Wear Head Coverings?

There is no ecclesiastical rule that requires altar girls—or women serving at the altar—to wear head coverings. What’s more fundamental is that they be modestly dressed, which should be accomplished if they’re properly vested to assist priests at the altar in the sanctuary.
