Question:
Would God for some reason rescind a person’s salvation?
Answer:
Not at all. St. Paul makes it clear that God’s choice of his elect is irrevocable. God does not take back his gifts. If anything is “rescinded,” it would mean simply that the creature, man or angel, refused God’s gift. That is why we can always return to God with repentance when we have sinned. He wants us to retain his blessings, not lose them.
