Protestants Receiving Catholic Communion

Question:

Can a Lutheran receive Communion in a Catholic church?

Answer:

Ordinarily, the Eucharist is a Catholic sacrament that is reserved to practicing Catholics. Under most circumstances, a Lutheran attending Mass in a Catholic church would not present himself to receive Communion. Nonetheless, there are exceptions to this rule. You can read about those exceptions in a blog post I wrote, Non-Catholics in the Communion Line.
