Neuroscience’s Limited Competence

Neuroscience can detect physical or material brain activities that accompany the human thought process, but the immaterial realm of the soul is simply beyond its competence. Indeed, it would be a futile endeavor for a neuroscientist to attempt to examine the soul under a microscope or some other material instrument of examination.
