Question:
Is the Marian Movement of Priests approved by the Catholic Church?
Answer:
The Marian Movement of Priests is a legitmate organization, but it could not be called officially approved. The founder, Don Stefano Gobbi of Milan in Italy, has had numerous locutions from Our Lady, and the Holy See has not approved them or declared them as credibly coming from a supernatural origin. Even so, many priests and bishops participate in the cenacles of prayer and other spiritual exercises provided by the movement. Don Gobbi ministers with the permission of his own bishop.
