Is It Wrong to Wear a Black Cross?

Question:

Is it wrong to wear a black cross?

Answer:

There’s nothing inherently wrong with wearing a black cross. Many bishops and religious wear crosses—or, more specifically, crucifixes—that are typically metal and often largely black while being outlined with a silver color.

So wearing a black cross or crucifix need not have any negative connotation. I would also encourage you to consider wearing a crucifix over a cross, given the greater sign value to those who will see you wearing it (1 Cor. 1:23, 2:2).
