God’s All-Seeing Eye Isn’t Masonic

Question:

Why is there an all-seeing eye symbol in the stained-glass window of a Catholic parish in my hometown?

Answer:

Contrary to what many people think, the all-seeing eye in Christian art is not a Masonic symbol but represents the all-seeing eye of the omnipotent God, who sees all things. When surrounded by a triangle, it symbolizes the Trinity.

Psalm 33:18: “But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.”
