Question:
Do I have to quit my pharmacy technician job, even if the pharmacist I’m assisting never knows what the prescription is used for (contraception versus endometriosis)?
Answer:
No. If a medication can be used for multiple therapeutic applications, you are free to assume that the medication will be used by the patient for a morally good purpose. In fact, it would be an act of charity to assume, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, that the patient and doctor are acting rightly.
