Question:
What does is the church teaching in regards to being civilly divorced and dating?
Answer:
As we’ve noted elsewhere, a person shouldn’t date until they’ve received an annulment. Because they’re still married in the eyes of the Church and thus in God’s eyes too, because what the Church binds on earth God binds in heaven (Matt. 16:18-19; 18:15-18).
