Tyler Brooks is a graduate student from Niagara Falls, Canada, where he is finishing his Master’s in history with a specialization in medieval and Renaissance studies at the University of Ottawa. He recently obtained a Master of Theological Studies magna cum laude at Saint Paul’s University in addition to an Honors B.A. with a major in history and minor in political science at UOttawa in 2020.
Brooks has contributed to online Catholic spheres such as Convivium, The Catholic Millennial, Transcendentals (whom he co-founded), and now Catholic Answers. He served as an editor for the UOttawa History Undergraduate Journal and a writing adviser with the Student Centre at UOttawa.
Outside writing, Brooks is true to his Niagara roots, having worked extensively in the wine industry—as a merchant with Wine Rack, in production at Trius Winery, and as a sales associate at Andrew Peller Estates in Niagara-On-The-Lake.
