Bringing a diversity of fundraising experience, Jordan Horner joined Catholic Answers in December 2022. She is primarily responsible for cultivation and stewardship of President’s Circle-level donors in the West region of the U.S., requiring frequent travel for face-to-face meetings and regular communication with supporters to keep them apprised of the apostolate’s latest happenings.
A graduate of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, Jordan came to Catholic Answers after two-and-a-half years at Students for Life of America. While at SFLA, she helped create and develop the organization’s mid-level donor program, supervising the effort and managing a team of four before her departure. She was also lead coordinator for SFLA’s 2022 National Pro-Life Breakfast in Washington, D.C.
Prior to her stint at Students for Life of America, Jordan was a Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) campus missionary for three years at the University of Oregon in Eugene. Serving in a relationship-oriented teaching role, she led college students through small groups and outreach events and regularly collaborated with local campus ministry and the Archdiocese of Portland. Like all FOCUS missionaries, she was responsible for raising her entire monthly salary from benefactors.
Originally from Colorado, where her close-knit family still resides, Jordan was born and raised Catholic and has particular devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Catherine of Siena, and St. Peter. In her spare time, she leads a weekly women’s Bible study in San Diego and also enjoys the beach, running, concerts, and traveling to see friends and family.
A dedicated fan of Denver Broncos football and Gonzaga basketball, Jordan also claims to play a mean game of pinochle.
