

Fr. Rhone Lillard was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on August 6, 1971. Both his parents were US citizens, and the family returned to the States — San Diego, CA — in 1976. Father was not raised with any particular religious faith, but when he was 15 he was received into the Catholic Church. In 1992, he entered St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary, the seminary for the Society of St. Pius X, in Winona, MN. He was there for 3 1/2 years but left in order to study at Thomas Aquinas College in Ojai, CA. After completing his BA at Thomas Aquinas College in 2000, Father entered the Institute of Philosophic Studies at the University of Dallas where he did his Masters and Doctoral work in literature (ABD). In 2005, He entered the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter’s seminary (Our Lady of Guadalupe) in Denton, NE and was ordained a priest for the Fraternity of St. Peter on May 22 of 2010. After completing a License in Philosophy at Catholic University of America, Father returned to Our Lady of Guadalupe seminary and has been teaching there since the Fall of 2013.
