A native of the Philippines, Fedelie Punsalan is an associate accountant for Catholic Answers. Her role is focused on ensuring that outside vendors and apostolate staff are paid accurately and in a timely fashion.
Fedelie immigrated to the United States in 1987 and has resided almost entirely in the San Diego area ever since. Prior to joining Catholic Answers in June 2015, she held accounting roles at HD Supply and Green Tree Servicing LLC (formerly GreenPoint Credit/Security Pacific Housing/BankAmerica Housing). She earned a bachelor of science degree in commerce (accounting major) from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines, a Catholic educational institution administered by the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) since 1935.
Born and raised Catholic with a particular devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Fedelie and her husband, Michael Lutz, have two daughters and two grandchildren. In her free time, she particularly loves spending time in the outdoors with photography, gardening, kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, e-biking, and hiking added to her enjoyment of sewing and ping-pong. She has been treasurer of the San Diego Premier Lions Club since 2007.
