David Deavel

Dr. David Deavel is visiting professor in Catholic Studies and editor of LOGOS: A Journal of Catholic Thought and Culture in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. He received a Ph.D. in theology from Fordham University and is an editorial board member of the Newman Studies Journal, and a former vice president of the Newman Association of America. He has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, America, Commonweal and First Things, and on CNN. He is a frequent contributor for Catholic World Report, The Imaginative Conservative and National Review.
