A mother of four and a competitive equestrian show jumper, Christina Caruso joined the Catholic Answers board of trustees in 2022. Born and raised Catholic, she was greatly influenced by her late uncle, Father Lawrence Caruso, O.F.M. Cap., a Franciscan friar and parish pastor who also served at one time as assistant superintendent of the Los Angeles Archdiocese high schools.
Caruso, a native of Southern California, learned about Catholic Answers when she was scrolling through satellite radio channels and found Catholic Answers Live on EWTN. Despite being a lifelong Catholic, her experience listening to the show awakened a new interest in learning more about the Catholic faith, a thirst for knowledge she did not realize had been missing in her life. Soon thereafter, she became a supporter of the apostolate.
Now having been elected to the board of trustees—an honor that is very close to her heart—Caruso hopes to inspire others to also deepen their faith and seek knowledge, learning and listening through the work of Catholic Answers.
