Brenda Cerkez is the Executive Director of Family Honor, Inc., a position she has held for the past 18 years. She directs the day-to-day management of this non-profit Catholic organization and also works with leaders from a variety of dioceses, parishes, and other organizations both inside and outside the U.S. who are interested in a family-centered approach to chastity education. Prior to her work with Family Honor, she was executive director for South Carolina Citizens for Life, the state’s largest pro-life organization, where she presented educational information to audiences across South Carolina; provided research and testimony at legislative hearings; recruited and trained grassroots volunteers; and directed all media efforts. Over the years, she has worked in advertising and public relations, and has been active in a number of political campaigns. In 2007, Pope Benedict XVI presented her with the Holy Cross “Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice,” the highest honor awarded to the laity by the Papacy.
