Catholic Answers Live: Television Edition debuts Saturday, April 22, at 10 p.m. EST.
This isn’t just a video feed of the radio show. We have invested heavily in our radio studio with a creatively dressed set, color-corrected studio lighting, high-definition cameras, and upgraded audio equipment.
The TV show comprises “best of” segments of a variety of apologists and experts answering questions. Each episode is produced using multiple camera angles and onscreen graphics and text, all aimed at keeping the show dynamic and engaging.
Our apologists have been on plenty of other TV shows and have always done well in presenting Catholic Answers as an organization, but we have always wanted to have our own show. This is an important step for Catholic Answers as we continue to grow and expand our evangelical outreach in the medium of video.
It is an exciting part of the video strategy we have developed to reach souls with the gospel message. The TV show will allow us access to an audience we haven’t reached yet: those who typically don’t listen to the radio.
We anticipate that this show will be the catalyst for future Catholic Answers television programs.
We are excited to be partnering with EWTN, with whom we’ve always had a fruitful relationship. The network broadcasts our radio show through its affiliates, and now both parties look forward to working together on the television side of things.
