Why Aren’t You Catholic?

Trent Horn asks, “Why aren’t you a Catholic?”

Questions Covered:

  • 06:14 - I am not Catholic because of the devotion to Mary.
  • 13:17 - Does a Catholic have any kind of assurance of heaven if you follow all the regulations of the Church. That’s my main concern in being a Catholic.
  • 17:17 - I was born and raised Catholic. I turned to Protestantism because I don’t understand worshiping anything other than God. I also don’t think I should have to confess to a priest. He’s just a human and I want God to hear my sins.
  • 30:00 - I was raised Catholic but left for a non-denominational church. I am interested in coming back to the Catholic Church.
  • 43:02 - I am a Baptist. I can’t accept the Immaculate Conception.
  • 50:43 - I would like to be Catholic, but I have trouble believing in papal infallibility.
